The White Stripes play gig on city busThe White Stripes yesterday performed yet another strangely-located show- on a bus in Manitoba, Canada.
Jack and Meg took a small number of fans on the road in a city bus, driving through the streets of Winnipeg as they played an acoustic set including 'Wheels On the Bus' and 'Hotel Yorba', according to report on Pitchfork.
As previously reported here, the band have already played a number of unusual locations including one in a classroom at Creekside Youth Centre in Burnaby, British Columbia and another for Chelsea pensioners in London.
They continue their lengthy tour tonight with a show at the Community Auditorium in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Pearl Jam set to play intimate show
Pearl Jam have announced a special show scheduled to take place in Chicago next week.
Members of the 'Ten Club' (the band's official fan club) will be offered the chance to buy tickets for the show at the 1,300 capacity Vic Theatre in the Windy City on Thursday (August 2).
A special pre-sale for the event will take place this coming Thursday (July 26) at 11am, when fans will have the opportunity to buy two tickets at $150 per pair.
This is the only other show Pearl Jam are scheduled to play this year, apart from their Sunday night headlining slot at Lollapalooza.
